Overview

Diploma in Pharmacy aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, capable in providing quality pharmaceutical services. In addition, this program is also designed to produce graduates with a caliber in terms of soft skills.

Programme Objectives

  1. Graduates will demonstrate knowledge, technical competency and capability to assist in providing quality pharmaceutical services with professionalism and ethics through contemporary and forward-looking training programme.
  2. Graduates will demonstrate commitment to the importance of lifelong learning and have effective leadership and teamwork skills to optimize patient safety and improve health outcomes.
  3. Graduates will show competency in ICT and entrepreneurial skills with the ability to recognize new business opportunities.

Entry Requirement

1.Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a pass in English and 5 credits in the following subjects: 

– Mathematics;

– ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/ Applied Science); and

– Any other THREE subjects (including Bahasa Melayu and/or English)

2.General Certificate of Education (GCE)/ O Level or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Melayu or English and five Grade C in the following subjects:

– Mathematics;

– ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/ Applied Science); and

-Any other THREE subjects (including Bahasa Melayu and/or English)

3.Certificate related to Health Sciences with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 2.75

1. A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects

2. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).
