Diploma in Computer Science programme offered by UNIKOP College provides students with a range of career options in computer science such as software engineer, web designer, system analyst, system designer, and data analyst. This programme focuses on providing specialist options which meet the needs of the major functions in computer science and allow specialisation with career progression and professional recognition in mind.

1. Developing the individual’s ability in the psychology field through effective education and training for a range of careers in computer science such as software engineer, software architect, research analyst.
2. Developing specialist routes of study which relate to individual professions of the major functions in computer science and allow specialisation with career progression and professional recognition in mind.
3. Developing individuals with knowledge, understanding and skills which underpin some of the knowledge and understanding, required for the level 4 modules in computer science.
4. Enabling progression for students to focus on the development of higher-level skills in an computer science context.

Malaysian Students:

1. A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 3 credits in any subjects inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification; OR

2. A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in related field; OR

3. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of grade C (GPA 2.00) in any subjects;OR

4. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass); OR

5. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).

International Students:

1. A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects

2. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).
