The programme is meant to prepare students to function effectively as a technical assistant in various works settings such as psychology laboratories, childcare centres, homes for aged and welfare agencies. This programme also focus on Providing specialist options which meet the needs of the major functions in psychology and allow specialization with career progression and professional recognition in mind

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM:
• Developing the individual’s ability in the psychology field through effective use and combination of the knowledge and skills gained in different parts of the programme.
• Developing specialist routes of study which relate to individual professions within the psychology world in which students are working or intend to seek employment and at the same to develop a range of transferable skills and techniques and attributes essential for successful performance in working life
• Developing individuals with knowledge, understanding and skills such as skills of analysis, synthesis, creativity and evaluation so as to ensure the graduates of the programme will be successful in a range of psychology positions.
