This programme is designed to provide broad coverage of all aspects of pre-hospital care, identifying and performing various roles and responsibilities in the management of emergency situations, first aid, and administering paramedic instruments, which enhances the status of the paramedic profession
- Graduates will be able to apply legal, ethical, and regulatory standards governing air paramedical practice.
- Graduates will be able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage patient care effectively in high-stress environments.
- Graduates will be able to understand advanced medical concepts, including trauma care, respiratory emergencies, and other critical conditions encountered in air medical transport.
Malaysian Students:
- A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English and 5 credits in the following subject
- Mathematics
- 1 science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science)
- Any other 3 subject; OR
- A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in related field; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of grade C (GPA 2.00) in any subjects; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass); OR
- A pass in Certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualification Framework) with minimum CGPA 2.75
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
International Students:
- A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects
- Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
