ABOUT UNIKOP

UNIKOP College is wholly-owned by The Royal Malaysian Police Cooperation and was established in 1996 and its new Head Quarters located at Multimedia Super Corridor Park in Cyberjaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. During its 22 years of existence, UNIKOP College has produced over 15,000 qualified, knowledgeable, professional and proactive graduates in various levels and fields.Since 1998, UNIKOP College has been given a full trust from the University of Technology MARA (UITM) to carry out pre-Diploma and Diploma programs in various fields of specialization.

DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING

At UNIKOP College, we are ensure your future employability, and the curriculum for the Diploma in Accounting programme is rigorously designed to give a balance between theoretical and practical skills. Your stay will be guided and supported by academics experts in their respective fields, incorporating the latest trends and innovations in their teaching. Learning is undertaken through a variety of lectures, tutorials, seminars and projects. You will be assessed through examinations and coursework, which can take a variety of forms.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

  1. Provide students with the tools of accounting and finance practice, acquire adequate accounting and finance knowledge, demonstrate solid foundation of the concepts and theories in accounting and finance, abilities to apply generally accepted accounting and finance principles and record business transactions.
  2. Prepare students to communicate effectively and function effectively in teams, demonstrate effective communication skills, function effectively as team member.
  3. Provide scope for the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills whilst also emphasizing the importance of corporate responsibility, ethics and governance.
  4. Prepare students to have commitment to quality, timeliness and continuous improvement.
